@ Sus: The beginning of June some time, our teachers haven't really specified. There are certain dates set aside for exams, but some of the teachers like to have them settled and done before hand.
Just had another thought. Are there still Narnian slaves in Calormen? Or was that settled in the Golden Age?

Lucy is around and up for a posting with everyone and ready for anything really. Unfortunately my plotting muse ran off on me.

Yea nat, a topic between them would be awesome. Especially because Layla is not really feeling up like staying in the castle, especially not since her secret is out (not that is general knowledge yet) still.
But i am open for topics as it's holidays here etc.

Me thinks we need a plot und ich habe kein Idee.
What are some of the things that make history so interesting? Famine? Plague? War (even though we kind of just had it)? Floods? Drought? Corruption?
I dunno, what does everybody feel up for?

yea those are pretty much the things that are interesting when it comes to history
I think that we can rule war out, for now at least you never know in the future, 'cause indeed we just got out one
but with a harsh winter like that some crops are bound to do badly so yea Famine maybe? And that could cause to general displeasure with the general population etc... Corruption is also always one that works best because no way is everyone on the same line on all levels so yea... Semi natural disasters such as floods etc i don't know about them though.
Love the idea(s) though
but what does everyone else think?

i agree like with what you said
but i'm like up for another war or something like that should it come, or not like idk maybe just some plotting without major battles to fight would be kinda cool to, you know, you'd get to do some plotting without all the tension etc.
i don't know really, but what caspian said sounded like a good idea to me.

What makes history interesting? About a billion things! haha. I've always been fascinated by court intrigue. And politics. IE., if two countries are making a marriage alliance for peace. Or if someone is trying to undermine the authority of the present ruler from the inside so they can try to get a new ruler. We could do either. We don't have a lot of characters though, so we'll have to probably try to keep things on a small scale, or use lots of NPC's.

Lol don't get me started on politics, the huge nerd in my will surface, it's my major for next year and the following 5 Anyway yea we'll have to use some NPC at the start but i think that as usual some members will return who were caught up in rl and to busy to post absence, or they'll realize how awesome this site is and they'd just want to return -cough not that I’m biased cough- Also we'll get some new members i think once we've installed said new plots. The marriage thingy, i think it's an awesome idea, just don't know how to put it, (unless were all of the sudden at war with archenland and your gonna marry nat )the other whole take over thing, yea i think it could work there are always people pissed at their leaders so it's very possible.

Sounds good to me. I can't think of any countries Narnia would need to make peace with though atm. We kind of had a civil war with Jadis. Maybe some prince will come to court Su or Lucy, and go to war after being turned down... kind of like the whole Rabadash thing? We'd need players from the other country though. I dunno, just a thought.

I know we kinda secretly deep down all wish that would happen, just because it'd be so dang amusing.
Meh, to me, the Rabadash thing is kinda old, and Susan already has a romance going. It would be REALLY hilarious if someone was interested in Edmund, bahah. But we don't have an Edmund anymore, do we? >.> I would say Layla but is she still around either?
Otherwise, maybe someone would be willing to take on someone from an island or something, like an island that was taken over by the Telmarines (a la VODT) that needs to make peace with Narnia via marriage alliance to Petekins perhaps?

Dunno if I even have a right to put my two cents in, what with my being so utterly not here for so long, but I never did learn to keep my nose out of other people's business
Anywho. Two cents. Here we go.
Ermh, Nat marrying Pete. I seriously can't see Narnia and Archenland warring it up, unless Pete does something that seriously ticks off Raoul. And then its fair game. Besides, don't you think that the two of them marrying would start a war? They're both so...opinionated. Nat might accidentally slit his neck with a butter knife. It does make sense for two countries to strengthen their bond with marriage, but I don't see Raoul giving his thumbs up.
About someone courting one of the queens, on the other hand...don't you think that's kinda 'been there, done that'? Now, if someone decided to 'court' edmund...xD

I think the only 'other country' players we have atm is nat and Lay (who is still around here somewhere i think, well she was active for a check but meh)
And i agree with Julie and nat, the whole 'rabadash' thing is kinda old, and i think it might be a bit to obvious that it would happen twice you know.
And nat you're always welcome to give some ideas, you're still a member are you not
Lol go nat and the butter knife, we all know we secretly want to read those topics it might be a bit far fetched yes, but Maria isn't around here anymore, didn’t post absence and wasn't active for a check.
so anyone trying to court Lu isn't really an option either (seeing as Su is sorta with caspian) so that leaves Peter and Edmund, who we dont have atm, i am thinking about the whole peter gonna marry someone for peace, 'cause i could see him do it out of a 'noble sense of duty for his country' or something like that.
i might be able to handle another char, it's just that if we'd go for that version, and I’d make another character, I’d ask to wait for it until I’m at uni and know if i can handle another char.
Or maybe if we decide on that version we can attract a new rper, though we'd have to make sure it doesn't become the icky ' oc mary sue marries peter' kind of thing. And i think that attracting someone new, on the condition that it's not a mary sue, is the best option

Hm. I'm fine with either. Peter would definitely do it out of a sense of duty, because I've never liked shipping him with anyone, because I always saw him as too busy working and taking care of his family to fall in love. Obviously Akira was an exception but I'm not doing that again so hells to the no on Mary Sues. I don't feel like we need new members, but if we do get someone interested in playing that role, you know I'll be the first one to call it if she's a Sue OC.
