I'm afraid that's just it. We're not coming back. And with those words the Pevensie children all knew that the two eldest would not return to the land that they had ruled and loved dearly; Narnia. Home, in England, Susan and Peter both dealt with the loss in a different way. Peter focused on his studying completely, his main goal was to get a university degree. Susan fell in with the wrong crowd. Denying the existence of Narnia was easier than admitting that she could never return. Edmund and Lucy both attempted to get their brother and sister back to how they were.
In Narnia things were going well. King Caspian X sat on the throne and was accepted by both Narnians and Telmarines as the rightful king. Many of the Telarines have returned to the land from where they came, but they do not know that some who seek to do them harm stayed behind. Some Telmarines will not accept the fact that they have to share their land with the Narnians, preferring the Dark Age of the past. With an evil spell and dark magic, they have succeeded in resurrecting the White Witch, who then vowed revenge on the Pevensies and Caspain.
Jadis, upon her return, brought Miraz back from the underworld. Together, they are planning to gain back what is rightfully theirs; control over the lands of Narnia. Many Telmarines are torn between whom to choose. Miraz promises that things will get back to how it is supposed to be in the Dark Age or Caspian, who works together with Narnians. Caspain has many who wish to usurp him, even the nobles of his own and adjoining lands.
At a loss when open war was proclaimed and ice encased their beautiful home, the people of the lands looked to their leaders for an answer. Many disagreed, the Telmarine Nobles some of the loudest voices, but Caspian blew the horn summoning not only King Edmund the Just and Queen Lucy the Valiant, but two others who thought they would never return. High King Peter the Magnificent and Queen Susan the Gentle, both surprised, but pleased to be back, were also summoned to, once again, aide Narnia. Now, the time has come will that they must face and defeat both Miraz and Jadis or leave Narnia to suffer a never ending winter.
Pick a side and fight against your foes. What will happen to Peter and Susan now they are back? How will Caspian, the Narnians, and the Telmarine courts react to the Kings and Queens of Old? Where will Archenland, the long ally of Narnia, stand in this battle? Will the former enemies of Narnia, like the Calormens stand with them against a greater enemy? You will have to find out. You will have to decide who will start The New Age.
