Lady Natalie was of proper blood, and dressed like it. The finest gowns available made of silks from her native land, she is not above to playing it to her color and usually favors wearing attires of blue or green. She adores the feel of her hair cascading down her back, but of course this is frowned upon, and thus she usually keeps it in a neat, easy knot.
Overall appearance: Natalie’s hair is stunning, and one of her best features. Her long blond hair falls straight to her hips, long and full in golden silky strands. Naturally, her hair is perfectly straight, but it can be curled, waved and styled into any style easily and quickly. not to add, it is thick, and color wise, it is not white blond, but rather, a pretty golden blond, which makes her hair look like spun gold. It is cut in a simple style, with one layer and the same length throughout, without the bangs that you sometimes see on other females. Her eyebrows are always plucked to perfection, and her blue eyes are stunning. Really, its color is more of a turquoise color, rather than greenish blue. It is like looking into the bluest and clearest lake, and is certainly just as mesmerizing. Right after her hair, this is her second best feature, and it probably comes from a mixture of her parents, her mother having green grey eyes and her father having blue eyes.
Natalie has worked to keep her skin blemish and mark free. This meant the proper uniform, fitted with even a bonnet most found so aggravating as protection against the dreaded freckles. Even though her skin is mark free, she still does have some complaints about certain features, the biggest complaint being about her nose. In her view, her nose is too big for the rest of her face, too large, too obvious. Although it is a nice shape, Adaleide believes that it takes up too much of her face. When she is in her appartment preparing for a dance or dinner, she can often be seen pinching it, hoping to make it smaller. Although she isn’t the tallest girl, she is taller than the average female, standing at 5'6''. She is also quite slender, therefore not having the curves that other women have. However, that does not mean she is completely shapeless, her curves do still exit and her chest is more than enough to attract any decent man. Her long dancer's legs also help out her overall appearance.
You wouldn't believe us if we told you, sir.
Family situation:
Natalie is both the second child of a family of five, and more recently, of four; her mother died when Natalie was but a child. Her older brother, three years her senior, is also heir apparent to the Radalan clan, and would inherit their father's title. Her younger sister, on the other hand, is one year her junior. With no mother to speak of, however, and thus no guidance for her growing up, Natalie lived in the Archenland court, and later, at Narnia's as a sort of junior ambassador for her people.
Father: Arpheus Radalan
Mother: Melinda Radalan

Full History:
Lady Natalie Radalan was born in a particularly fine springspring. She was the third child and first daughter, and as such was much appreciated by her parents. Boys were necessary, of course, and were of more importance than a daughter could ever be, but a girl with a dowry as large as Natalie's would be useful for a marriage alliance with another great house of Liston, or perhaps even Sundaril. After all, as the niece of the king, there was no telling just how high the girl might look for a husband. So, from a young age, Natalie was educated as a great lady should be. Even before her formal lessons started at the age of six, she learned how to sit a horse properly, how to walk in an elaborate court gown, and how to never let anyone else know what she was thinking. Making the girl into a lady was never easy, of course – she would far rather run around with her siblings, sprinting and shrieking through the palace, than sit down and focus on what her parents deemed important.
Natalie was only a year old when her sister Acrista was born, and cannot remember a time without the younger girl. They were always roommates, and Nat loved her sister very much. That doesn’t mean, though, that they always got along. Acrista couldn’t always keep up with Natalie and their older brother when they were playing in the halls or gardens, and Natalie was hardly a patient child. In her young mind, anyone who fell behind wasn’t worth waiting for. Later, when they were both in the schoolroom, Acrista proved to be a far more diligent student. Natalie was intelligent, certainly, and when she put her mind to a subject she could master it, but she was also flighty and didn’t often like to focus intently on anything she was forced to learn. She did, however, enjoy languages, and picked up Sundrili, Farengalian, and Espanian without too much trouble, prompting her mother to remark that the king should name her an ambassador, an idea the girl was thrilled by.
When she was thirteen, Acrista and Natalie were brought to court. While Acrista served their mother, Natalie was put into the household of the queen. The girls continued their studies, but the idea of being an ambassador for her people in another land never failed to thrill her. Just a year later, tragedy struck the family. When Melinda was killed in a riding accident, the Greystones, a closer family than those of most other nobles, were devastated. They retreated to mourn and find a way to cope with the loss. Natalie was terrified and distraught, but tried to hide it. The family needed a woman in charge, and Natalie was determined to be just that. She spent the trip north trying to comfort Natalie and Adrien, but she didn’t know what to do about her father. In the end, she left them to their own devices, deciding that she could do little to help the younger pair. From her mother’s will, Natalie received a few jewels and a gown or two, nothing of great importance. Except her mother’s ring. The ring had been given to Melinda by her uncle the King, and bore the royal insignia of the Archenland court. It was a mark of status, as well as one of Natalie’s most treasured possessions, and she had told Natalie that she wore it to remind herself that no matter where she went, she must always remember where she had come from.
After a month back home, Adrien left to return to court, and she was furious. How dare he abandon his family like that? She didn’t admit to herself that she, too, would rather be back at court, for so many reasons. Home reminded her too much of her mother, and the past. Court was her future. Understandably, then, she was thrilled when she returned to court after the mourning period. She quickly met up with her old friends and picked up the strings of her old life. She was determined to make the best of things. She doesn’t know what her father’s plans for her are, but she knows she would rather marry for love than for a political alliance. That might be difficult to manage, though, as the girl is, at this point, sixth in line for the throne. Quite a catch for any bachelor.
But her dreams came true, in the middle of her dark period, and Natalie was briefed. Along with two males, Natalie was sent to Narnia, as an ambassador to her people, despite her young age of seventeen. She corresponds with the Kings and Queens often, more so with the ambassadors of their land, and couldn't be happier.
I wished you'd all stop acting like grown ups
Full Personality: Natalie might not be the prettiest person you ever meet, with her plain looks, but she is not a pushover like she might seem. She knows what it's like to work for what you want, and she knows how to get it, being the cunning girl that she is. In fact, perhaps the most outstanding trait of Natalie is her sharp mind. She can usually pick up what her tutor was saying rather quickly. She is a quick learner. She has a broad knowledge about a lot of subjects, and is a very well educated girl. Something that so few prize in women. Natalie also enjoys music a great deal, her parents having invested plenty of money into her. The good lady is strong willed, defiant, and determined. She knows what she wants, and how to get it. If there isn’t an obvious way, she fights until she gets it. She will help people out when required. She doesn’t really care about pleasing other people, for she is happy with herself.
She will treat people older than her with respect though. Other than that, she is a fairly open minded girl. She is a girl that likes to relax, and usually keeps opinions to herself, unless asked. She usually doesn’t make an opinion about things before she has tried it. It is only fair to think that she is ambitions, and ambitions she is. Growing up in her family, she has been trained from birth to fight for the things that she believes are rightfully hers. Adaleide is also kind of obnoxious and self centered, spoiled even. From the beginning, her father has encouraged her to be the best that she could be, and he helped by giving her everything that she needed to succeed, including every kind of lesson possible, horses to practice riding on, elegant and expensive clothing, and more.
In this process, however, she has become quite spoiled, with all the luxuries being piled onto her. With all the things being piled onto her, she is also quite materialistic, and she loves receiving new items. Often, she can be seen tallying her items, counting how many things he has. The amount of luxurious clothing she has is more than enough, and she loves receiving new clothes and jewelery from her father. She is also quite vain and can be seen sitting in front of a mirror brushing her hair and plucking her eyebrows for hours on end. Natalie is also a manipulative girl, one who has learned the art from her parents. She knows how to persuade and twist things to her favour, and she isn't afraid to take a small risk just to make it happen. She had been manipulated too long herself, and now, she is determined to not let it happen again.
Therefore, she has put up walls against other people, blocking them and her true feelings out. One of the best traits of Natalie however is how loyal she is. Even with all of the qualities that she shows on the outside, not everything is as perfect as it seems. For starters, Natalie puts out a confident front and to those who don't know her, it seems like she is unshakable. Underneath the facade however, she is an extremely insecure girl, one who has no idea who she really is. When insulted or whatnot, she appears like she doesn't care on the outside. However, more often than not Natalie will think about it and shed a few tears behind the curtains of her bed. She believes that showing her emotions in public makes her seem weak and she refuses to allow her tears to fall in front of others.
This was not to say that she was an outright brat, however. So few realize that the girl was a hopeless romantic. She longs for her heart to be completely owned by a good knight like she had read and heard of so many times, but at the same time, fears it dreadfully. She wants the same feeling of protection, of utter peace, but is terrified of letting go. During the few courtships she had passed, she found herself as shy and quiet, much unlike her normal outrageously bold behavior.
In the Telmarine court, her current residence, she is seen as polite and demur, with surprising shows of mischief every now and than.
At least we know that some of you can handle a sword
Rp-Sample:The chilly wind blew her hair in front of her face once again and for the hundredth time, she tucked it distractedly behind her ear. Fall was always her favorite time of year, just not when she was trying to draw. The pencil flicked onto the page regardless of the interferences like water, swishing one way and turning the next until there was actually an outline on her page. It had been a while since she actually sat down and put her thoughts onto paper. So many other things seemed to get in the way or take up her time.
But today, Claire put those other things behind her to make time for art. Sure there was homework to be done and tests to study for but nothing calmed one's nerves like the steady flow of ink on paper. Her eyes gazed over the parchment and over to the crashing waves against the sand. The only down fall to winter time; the icy water. Claire loved the majesty of a regal, peaceful lake, the uniqueness of each individiual puddle, and above all, the merciless beating of water against sand. Both times of the year could not be shared and this upset her a bit. Winter was amazing with it’s lovely white snow and being able to sip hot chocolate by the fire, yet she liked to watch the water's waves
Her hand slipped away and began to drag the quill on the paper once again, the ripples of forming on the page to complete his thought process. At least here anything could happen. The pencil traced snowflakes dropping from the dark sky as children still swam in the water; steam elating from it’s warm source. On this paper she could do anything, become anyone, where and anytime. It was nice to know that there was one place in time she could be the soul ruler and maker of. Sometimes there was more to life than reality; Claire loved the magic of it.
Having her own little word was a wonderous feeling. At least here people did what she wanted. The face on the page was coming into view, Quil. He was swimming and smiling happily in the hot springs with her. A bright smile stretched her face, and she wondered, not for the first time, where he was. Claire smiled, yes when he and she were together and having fun but he had yet to see a genuine smirk pull his lips. There was always a hint of doubt on her pale features. Like something was stopping her from letting go completely. By having fun, was she forgetting her mother? Three years had passed, and it would be wrong to claim that she had recovered completely. Claire sincerely doubted that it was even possible to do so, but she was willing to try regardless. Quil deserved what was left of her, broken as she was by her mother's untimely killing by nomadic vampires.
With a soft gasp, as if in disbelief at her own daring, Claire was unblinking as her hand traced without her will to draw the soft, kind features of her mother. Oh, god. Claire closed her eyes tiredly for a moment, and than refused to open them. It felt so good.
