Reepicheep
I was born as Reepicheep and i have lived for but a few winters. Behind my keyboard i am known as Julie And i've been playing this game for four years but you might know me better as PETER
I'm not a dwarf! I'm a girl.
Name: Reepicheep
Nickname(s): you won’t call him any, if you value your life
Age: young adult Mouse
Gender: male. Last he checked.
Social Class: KNIGHT. Don’t you forget it.
Occupation: Did I not say before?
Race: Mouse (and proud of it)
Martial Status: Single. His heart belongs to Narnia.
Sexuality: He’s a Mouse. (straight)
Face Claim: Non-Human! First on the site! xD
Can you make me taller?
Hair: short and brown
Eyes: black and beady
Height: about a foot. Though he makes up for it in pride.
Weight: About eight pounds
Skin Tone: Hidden by fur
Body Type: Rodent
Distinguishing Marks: …He has a tail? He looks like other Mice, except for his feather and his rapier.
Clothing: Naught but his rapier and his feather
Overall appearance: Even with a Mouse's physique, Reepicheep still manages to carry himself with a noble air. He always has good posture, standing erect at one foot tall, and using his beloved tail to maintain his balance. One can often tell what he is thinking by observing his tail, his whiskers, and his ears. When his ears are perked, his whiskers taut, and his tail is poker straight, he is either extremely happy, or you had best get out of his way. The saddest sight you may ever see is a Mouse with a drooping tail, whiskers, and ears.
Reepicheep has fur his whole body over that is gray/brown in color, and he takes good care of it, as he does every part of himself. It shines brilliantly and is soft to the touch, though of course no one has ever found this out and lived to tell about it. He is somewhat slender for a mouse, because of all the exercise he does training. And, you can tell he is a Mouse (not a mouse) when you look at his face. His eyes are large and set far apart, his nose is a bit small, and his mouth is oversized - all the better for talking. He also distinguishes himself from other Mice by wearing a large red feather in a band around his little head. But other than that, his only clothing is his rapier and belt.
You wouldn't believe us if we told you, sir.
Family situation: In typical Mouse fashion, he has not seen any of them since he was very young.
Father: Rupicheep
Mother: Leepicheek
Siblings: too many to count
Extended Family: too many to count
Full History: Reepicheep was raised in a typical Mouse household with many siblings. He was always a very busy creature, but his father taught him how to fight and his mother taught him how to be gentle. He was instructed in the legends of Aslan, and lived for the day when he would be able to fight for his cause. He learned swordplay - and his one of the handiest Animals with a rapier you might ever see - as well as military strategics, with a bit of geography, history, and politics thrown in. He is a very intelligent Mouse because of this. He lived with his parents and siblings until he was old enough to seek his fortune, and, according to Mouse custom, never saw any of his family members again. He is not too much bothered by this, because he believes one must seek one's own destiny.
As only a small Mouse (well, he is still a small Mouse), he was told by a Dryad that he would find his heart’s desire in the Utter East. It has, since then, been his dream to sail across the Ocean to reach Aslan’s country. So far, however, he has not successfully met that goal, because he first must defend Narnia. He was determined to put his rapier to good use on the side of the Old Narnians, should it be needed. After Narnia was restored, only then could he complete the voyage to the east. So he decided to find others who shared his desire to take back what was theirs from the Telmarines. He set off alone to the deepest part of the Shuddering Wood to do so.
When he lived out on his own, he met many other old Narnians, including Pattertwig the Squirrel, Glenstorm the Centaur, and Trumpkin the Dwarf. Because of his experience with arms, as well as his quick wit and sense of honor, he quickly became a large part in the force that was building to rebel against the Telmarines. Often, he served as a speaker during one of the gatherings at the Dancing Lawn, simply because of his passion and pride, but it was difficult because no one could see him. He taught many of the Old Narnians how to use their swords, since so many of them were so pathetically useless in that way. Even when things were hard, he kept his faith in Aslan and immediately pledged his loyalty to Caspian X when the time arose for him to do so. Even though things were rough in the beginning (Reepicheep almost dispatched him), he accepted Caspian more quickly than most of the other Old Narnians – as soon as he knew who he was (the possessor of the horn), not just what he was (a Telmarine).
Since then, Reepicheep has devoted his entire life to the service of Caspian and of Narnia. He fought in battles like the raid on Miraz’s castle, in which he was one of the most important warriors – it was he who opened the gate to allow the others in – and the Second Battle of Beruna, where he nearly lost his life and did lose his tail and much of his dignity (only to have both restored, thanks to Aslan). After Caspian’s coronation as king of Narnia, he continued to carry out his duties as a knight, including scouting areas for possible enemies, making sure that Caspian is always safe (he prides himself on being on the king’s personal guard and the best and most trusted, at that), and pretty much anything anyone tells him in order to maintain his delicate sense of honor. He is overjoyed to know that the kings and queens have returned, and is one of the few that does.
I wished you'd all stop acting like grown ups
Full Personality: Reepicheep has the heart of a Giant in the size of a Mouse. He adheres to the code of chivalry as if he would die otherwise, and defends his honor viciously. If someone insults him, even in jest, he will take it to heart and most likely avenge himself with his rapier. He is not afraid to face anything, including someone six times his size in combat, save the loss of his honor – or his tail. His entire life, he has set his sights on being a knight of Aslan and defender of Aslan, and will do whatever it takes to do so. Quite the determined Mouse, he is self-disciplined and has a group of devoted followers that will listen to what he says, just as he likes.
Even though he is too proud for his own good, Reepicheep is also a very loyal Mouse. He has held onto his belief in Aslan, even in the face of death, and rushed to the aid of his kings and queens when possible and will do so again in a heartbeat. While he thinks often of his honor, it is more important to him to make sure that what he does, he does for those he loves. He is convinced that whatever he does is the best thing to do, and will happily use his rapier to back himself up on this. For the cause of Narnia, Aslan, and Caspian, he will rush headlong into a battle, even if they tell him not to for his own sake. He is convinced that it is better to die nobly than to live in fear. Those who do not agree with him will be bothered mercilessly.
As Reepicheep will love and protect something with all of his being, he is also capable of an intense amount of hate. If he thinks something is dishonorable, he will ridicule it soundly, and does not hesitate to use his tongue, which is almost as sharp as rapier, when it comes to discipline. His intelligence gives him an extensive vocabulary and a quick wit, and this can be employed in good or bad ways. Refusing to put up with any nonsense – or, at least, what he considers nonsense – makes him extremely stubborn and something of a danger to himself if he will not listen to good reason (he won’t). But these things have also made him a better defender of Narnia by the same token. He holds a sound hatred for those against Old Narnia and Aslan. His morals are deeply ingrained within him, and he holds fast to them. If nothing else can be said about Reepicheep, it is that he does not give up on what he believes, even when everyone else does. Because Reepicheep is truly not like anyone else.
At least we know that some of you can handle a sword
Rp-Sample: Reepicheep walked stiffly through the camp - the Narnian camp, though an ignorant observer might not guess such judging from the amount of men running around it. Men, Reepicheep supposed, were all right by him, but only since Caspian was one and Narnia had not been right since one ruled. However, another thing that Caspian was, though he had done his best to shake it off - that Reepicheep found despicable - was Telmarine. Yes, there were Telmarines. In the Narnian camp. The indignity of it all had been nearly fatal to Reepicheep upon the discovery of this. And things had not improved throughout the day, which was proving to be insufferably long. While he despised Telmarines on principle, these had given Reepicheep many more reasons. Such as taking up his Majesty's time while they should have been planning a battle. But now, instead of defeating the Telmarines, they may as well be having a tea party with them.
Peace talks, they had said. Pah! Peace would not come until the Telmarines had been routed, and not only that but soundly so. In fact, Reepicheep felt quite ready to draw his rapier on the very next one he saw. Feeling quite disgusted - and knowing full well that killing a Telmarine would be regarded as having been done for "no reason" and not be looked favorably upon - Reepicheep went away from the group to sulk. He had not been invited to the tent to be a part of the discussion, and this would have been insult enough if a Telmarine hadn't, but indeed they had. Reepicheep had not met the chap - Drinian, they had called him; the name was whispered through the entire camp - himself, but looked forward to doing so. Perhaps this Telmarine's loyalty could be tested by a blade. That was the way real warriors did things. There was none of this nonsense to be suffered.
Nearly seething with rage and disgust, Reepicheep retreated to the tall grasses where he could be miserable alone, since it was quite clear that his services were no longer needed by his king. Was Reepicheep bitter? No, not really - it was only that Reepicheep was the best swordsman Caspian had in his entire army, not to mention the very first. All right, perhaps he was quite bitter, but rightfully so, he thought. There was a tree up ahead that Reepicheep considered climbing, as practice for a mast (if all else failed, he could always fulfill his dream of sailing to the end of the world). But he stopped dead when he realized that it already appeared to be claimed - and by none other than a Telmarine. The Mouse trembled with fury, and whipped out his rapier faster than you can say his name. He glared up at the man, who, thankfully, was armed. A fair fight. He spat out a challenge: "What are you doing here?", referring, of course, not to the tree but to the glorious Narnian camp in general - in which he was quite certain that an enemy did not belong. And this was indeed an enemy, for he was a Telmarine.
