Full History: Clarissa grew up in a small independent tribe from where she is now. Living her life until fifteen a nomad, Clarissa became very experienced with the bow as well as other weapons while hunting and also defending the tribe from attacking tribes. With not enough people in the tribe, both men and women had to assume roles that were usually assigned to one gender. When she turned fourteen, Clarissa’s tribe was attacked by a much larger one and they succumbed. Her father was killed in the fighting but Clarissa, her mother, and her younger brother were taken as slaves and servants. Clarissa’s mother died soon after and then Clarissa was sold into the city soon thereafter and luckily was resold and bought by a bow-maker who recognized her talents and wanted to use her to help him. Clarissa worked with him from age fifteen until nineteen and was viewed by him as his daughter. She quickly learned the language and also became very experienced with creating and not only shooting bows. At twenty-one she was accepted into the archer’s guild in the high court and has loyally served there for two years.
I wished you'd all stop acting like grown ups
Full Personality: Having grown up in the fields as a nomad, Claire can be a tad blunt and harsh at times. However, she is mostly pleasant and definitely a people person. She enjoys laughing, hanging out, and being mischievous with whomever is up for it and she is very fond of children or younger people. She is often underestimated because her personality is so vibrant and it will cause confusion when she shows a completely different side in the line of duty. Loyal to the point of death to King Caspian, she is serious and very focused when she needs to be. When in danger, she angers easily at others who are not taking the task seriously and can will snap or order them around.
She is afraid of very little that she will admit to and usually makes it very clear that she will overcome her fear except for one. Claire has a fear of especially deep water when the shore is very far away or she has nothing to hold on to. She can swim but not very well and tends to panic. Very few know about this fear and she does not make it obvious, which is occasionally a danger to others if the team ever encounters waters and she has difficulties.
At least we know that some of you can handle a sword
Rp-Sample: Claire ran the square of wax up and down the bow string, pulling it taught as she pressed it between her thumb and the piece of wax, pulling it at the other hand. It really was a well made string and she was proud of it. Almost as proud as she was over the actual bow. It was nearly four three and half foot tall when unstrung and had been made of the strongest wood she had been able to find. She had spent hours and days first carving, then soaking, and eventually shining the piece of wood into a masterpiece of perfection.
Eventually, she set the string and wax down with a sigh, rubbing her sore arms. She could hear someone coming toward the stables where she was working. It sounded like a few people, actually. They would more than likely make her leave, the noble men were never really polite to her when they did not recognize her as one of the three archers, one who usually dressed a little better than she did now. With only breeches and a loose shirt on she would more than likely get taunted. Ah well, she needed to report in in about a half an hour anyways. She stood up and looped the string around her waist, grabbing her bow and using it as a walking stick as she slipped out of the stables and toward the upper parts of the castle.
